URGENT ALERT!!!
PLANNED WATER SHUTDOWN OF THE SUMMIT/LOERIE PIPELINE TO REPAIR CRITICAL LEAKS
The Municipality wishes to inform residents that a 48-hour shutdown of the Summit pipeline is required in order to perform critical leak repairs.
The shutdown will commence on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, and water supply is expected to be restored on Friday, September 10, 2021.
Storage reservoirs will be filled, but there is a chance that they will be depleted before the water supply is restored. Therefore, we urge residents to use water for essential purposes only during this period.

1. Connections directly off the Summit pipeline
2. Van Staadens Village
3. Parts of Greenbushes
4. Parts of St. Albans
5. KwaNobuhle
6. Woodridge
The situation will be closely monitored, and water tankers will be made available if reservoir storage levels fall below a certain level.
Water tanker positions will be communicated on the NMBM website and social media pages, and can also be inquired about by calling the Service Delivery Call Centre at 0800 20 50 50.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience.
