- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications,

- Knowledge of by-laws and policies relating to
revenue management and customer care, e.g. Credit Act, Municipal Finance
Management Act, Assistance to the Poor Policy and Credit Control Policy.
- Knowledge of local government processes and
procedures, and municipal accounting systems (a recommendation).
- Knowledge of the
compiling and monitoring of Operating and Capital budgets in a municipal
oral and written communication skills in English and at least one other
official local language.
- Report-writing and supervisory skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
