The Council has received an application for its Special Consent to permit a place of instruction (day care centre) on Erf 26851, Motherwell.

Notice is given in terms of Section 47 of the above Act that the Council has received an application for the removal of title conditions applicable to Erf 80, Mill Park, in order to allow the development and to formalise the existing zoning.

Notice is given in terms of Section 47 of the above Act that the Council has received an application for the removal of title conditions applicable to Erf 496, Summerstrand, in order to formalise the existing structure.

Notice is given in terms of Section 47 of the above Act that the Council has received an application for the removal of title conditions applicable to Erf 541, Summerstrand, to permit the property to be developed.

 

In addition, the Council has received an application for a Zoning Scheme Departure to permit:

 

(i)         an increase in the number of existing guest rooms from 5 to 11 guest rooms;

(ii)        relaxation of the building lines as per existing building footprints in order to formalise the existing development on the property.

Notice is given in terms of Section 47 of the above Act that the Council has received an application for the removal of title conditions applicable to Portion 56 of Farm Chelsea No. 25, to permit the property to be developed.

 

The Council has received an application for the subdivision of Portion 56 of Farm Chelsea No. 25 into Portion A, Portion B, Portion C and Portion D, as shown on Plan no: 1580E/S1/1.

 

In addition, the Council has received an application for the rezoning of Portion A from Cluster Housing to Residential Zone II purposes.

 

Furthermore, the Council has received an application for it’s Special Consent to permit three additional dwelling units on Portion A of the subdivided Portion 56 of Farm Chelsea No. 25.

 

The Council has received an application for the rezoning of Portions B, C and D of the subdivided Portion 56 of Farm Chelsea No. 25 from Cluster housing purposes to Residential Zone 1 purposes to permit the property to be used for such purposes.

 

An application has also been received by the Council for its Special Consent to permit two additional dwelling units on each of Portions B, C and D.

 

Furthermore, the Council has received an application for a Zoning Scheme Departure to permit the relaxation of the Total Floor Space of additional dwelling units.

The Council has received an application for the subdivision of Erf 9, Lorraineinto two portions, as shown on Plan no. 9A.

(2)        SALEOF LAND AND CONSOLIDATION: ERF 317, WELLS ESTATE

The Council is considering amending the Port Elizabeth Zoning Scheme by the rezoning of Erf 317, Wells Estate from Undetermined purposes to Residential 1 purposes to permit the property to be used for residential purposes.

 

The Council further intends selling Erf 317, Wells Estate to the owner of the abutting property, subject to consolidation of the said property with Erf 318, Wells Estate simultaneously with transfer.

The Council has received an application for a Town Planning Departure applicable to Erf 537, Summerstrand to permit the departure from street building line of 5 m to 1,8 m.

The Council has also received an application for an amendment to the Despatch Zoning Scheme by the rezoning of Portion A of Erf 12675, Despatch from Residential 3 purposes to Business 1 purposes to permit the property to be used for business purposes.

 

Furthermore, the applicant intends to consolidate Erven 12673, 12674and Portion A of Erf 12675, Despatch.
