The Council has received an application for its Special Consent to permit a Place of Instruction (Gym) to operate on Erf 4215, Fairview. 

REMOVAL OF RESTRICTIONS APPLICATION IN TERMS OF THE SPATIAL PLANNING AND LAND USE MANAGEMENT ACT, 2013 (ACT 16 OF 2013) : ERF 57, SUNRIDGE PARK ( 40 TULIP AVENUE) (CF24/00057) (LS) 

Notice is given in terms of Section 47 of the above Act that the Council has received an application for the removal of title conditions applicable to Erf 57, Sunridge Park.

The Council has received an application for a Zoning Scheme Departure from the height restriction of 2 storeys to 3 storeys on Erf 4181, Fairview.

The Council has received an application for a Zoning Scheme Departure to depart from the parking requirements and building line.

SUBDIVISION, REZONING AND SALE : THEESCOMBE 

SUBDIVISION, REZONING AND SALE OF PORTION OF ERF 1832, THEESCOMBE SITUATED AT GREENWAYS ROAD (CF30/01832) (Ref. 103) 

The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality intends subdividing Portion A of Erf 1832, Theescombe as shown on Plan No. E9D-X-27. 

Furthermore the Council intends amending the Port Elizabeth Zoning Scheme by the rezoning of Portion A of Erf 1832, Theescombe from Community 3 to Residential 1 purposes and selling the subject portion subject to certain conditions. 

Any sale of the erf shall be subject to the provisions of the Local Government : Municipal Finance Management Act, No. 56 of 2003, the NMBM Preferential Procurement Policy (as amended), the NMBM Policy for the Disposal of Immovable Capital Assets, incorporating the NMBM Land Sales Directives (as amended) and the evaluation and adjudication criteria stated therein. 

The closing date for objections and/or expression of interest is 19 June 2017.
